「Its party time」とイケてるオープニングで我々を誘惑し、素晴らしいキャラクターで引き留める、そんな本作が大好きだ。
I seriously lost it when the lady start speaking in a gaijin accent
I know, right. Lots of gaijin accent and Engrish in this episode lol
The English is serious good “I have a crush on EIKO.”
I love the comedic timing in this show. Eiko being hopeful about getting 100,000 likes soon and the melodious piano tunes supporting it, only for Kongming to reply: “That could prove rather tough” and Eiko screaming “NOOO” and throwing a tantrum afterwards XD.
I cracked at the WordArt No!!!
This episode confused me a little. Koumei said he was looking for a rapper but came to see a DJ. Even if those are not exclusive, I thought it would be Koumei taking a role of the DJ, since we saw him over the board in the opening…
He’s just doing networking to find a rapper he wants. I assume it’s going to be the guy to the left of Kongming in the OP (the part with 5 people dancing).
He’s probably building hella network while looking for a rapper since he’s the Original Gangsta 5D chess player
That ending was a nice touch!
Yeah, I was really wondering when we’d get our Eiko song of the day. To have it transition into the ED was a great decision.
the last part where they open to each other and Koumei listen to Eiko’s song brought tears to my eyes…
I like how they have so many montages of how hard Eiko works off-screen. Music practice at home, with a guitar, with a keyboard, in the shower. That she didn’t luck into this or relying solely on Kongming, she puts in her own hard work too.
This is one of the most appealing things about her character for me It’s interesting that she’s also quite a solitary person, far more so than Kongming who is much more extraverted and sociable.
It’s like the “HEEEEEEEEEY” from last episode. Kongming only set the stage, but from there on it’s all eiko’s.
You know at first I was getting frustrated at Eiko for just not asking Kongming why he was doing all that to get rid of any misunderstandings and coming up with false conclusions, but that talk inside the udon shop completely changed all that.
What I like this episode (and maybe this anime as a whole) is that it is well balanced: The funny parts of the series is balanced out by the touching moments at the end. And even the funny scenes are actually relevant in the conclusion of the episode.
Bait us with “Its party time” and a cool OP, and make us stay with great character moments, I love this show.
