孔明はラップでKABEを挑発し、ステージに上げ、バトルを繰り広げます。結果はKABEの勝利となりましたが、ステージに戻るという願いはもう叶ったと言う彼は何も要求しませんでした。そして孔明たちを気に入ったKABEは、仲間になることを決めます。
実は、バトル前から孔明の策は張り巡らされていました。孔明は夜な夜なクラブを回ってKABEの情報を調べ上げ、彼の思い出の曲を突き止め英子に歌わせ、それを聞いた彼にラップに夢中だった頃を思い出させ、バーでは密かに胃に効くドリンクを飲ませていたのです。”能使敵人自至者利之也”（相手の求めるものを差し出せば、敵といえども自ら寄ってくる）という兵法でした。

- this is the best rap battle in anime history
- Dude can rap! Kongming engaging in a freestyle rap battle is something I can honestly say I never expected to see in an anime. But damn, that was pretty sick.
- The rap battle was straight-up incredible. Genuinely good flow and rhythm that made for a captivating episode.
- I dig Kongming’s extra smooth flow with his rap… soothing for the ears.
- Both Kabe and Kongming’s VA’s went all out, and the differences in their style (gentle vs aggressive) along with those Jojo-like stands, made it even more fun to watch. I like the way he hit it off at the end!

- Does “Art of War” really sound like “Hey-ho!” in Japanese?Edit: yes, 兵法 is pronounced “heihou” in Japanese. Damn, that is brilliant.
- I do not envy the translator for these last couple of episodes. They did a really good job, though.
- Translating rap from one language to another while maintaining both the rhyme and meaning must be a pain in the ass
- While that’s happening, I love that Sekitoba is just right next to Eiko giving her an explanation of how rap battles work. He even gave Eiko an explanation about Kongming’s poem which was hilariously awesome.
- I really like Sekitoba, he’s such a cool, composed character.
- Some quality Eiko reaction faces this episode.
- The best part is easily where it flips to Kongming reciting an old Chinese poem with Eiko and Kung Fu sitting on a boat. Really all of Eiko’s reactions were great.
- It’s kinda small but I love how eiko’s smiles are shaped like a heart. Absolutely adorable.

- Cliche plot of curing stomachache psychologically?No, actual medicine was given secretly.This show is definitely top tier and portraits Kongming as it should be, seems magical but in the end it’s just practical tactics.
- Then having Kabe’s drink spiked with one of his medicines to help the ulcers. Making him think that rapping again helped his stomach. Every minute detail. Truly the master strategist.
