I love how the lyrics to the OP has peanuts. Truly fitting with Anya running across the screen!
The interesting thing about the OP & Anya’s fav food is how the “Peanuts” refers to the whole family who hide their real identities in a bag of “Mixed Nuts” (the society, basically) because peanuts are apparently the only “nuts” from the ground who tried to pass itself as other normal/real nuts from the trees.. when they’re actually from the legumes/peas family, or something like that.
ah yes, peanut philosophy
What’s with japan and their songs with serious, existential, depressing lyrics being such bangers.
Ah, the late Daisuke Inoue and his rock anthem “Ai Senshi” that was cool af, but the lyrics are about the horrors of war. Fitting because it’s from Gundam.
‘a T(oad)…no, F(rog) cipher’.
That got an unexpected laugh from me
Although, they really should have chosen a better method since it can cause confusion, as we’ve seen from Twilight in this episode being unsure at first if it was the T or F cipher.
“MISSION 2: SECURE A WIFE
I’ve been stuck on this mission for a while. I would like to see how he completes it so I can complete it myself”Clearly, it’s simple. Blow up some smugglers with a grenade and propose with the pin.
are you able to memorize a list of personal details about every unmarried woman in your city?
Fuck Camilla. What a major bitch. Hope Yor puts her in her place
it was hard to watch her be annoying, i have no idea why she still has a boyfriend
they made me hate the work mate even more than I did reading the manga. She was truly a top tier bitch.
Saori Hayami as Yor is an S-class casting choice. For anybody wondering, she does Shinobu from Demon Slayer, Yamato from One Piece, Fubuki from One-Punch Man, among other roles. Her beautiful voice is definitely fitting for the most beautiful assassin.
Hayamin has one of the most recogniseable sweet voice. She’s one of the few seiyuu that I could instantly identify when she voice acted in an anime.
Hayamin as Yor is absolutely perfect! Perfectly captures both the cute aspects and the cold ruthless hitman.
Before that proposal, I liked that scene where Loid went static and fell down when Yor asked “Why don’t we get married” lol.
Explosions in the background just make the proposal more romantic!
I love how Loid explained away so much because of his being a “psychiatrist” and Yor just bought it. And he didn’t even need to explain the grenade!
“Concussive therapy”. Every psychiatrist in the world are shaking in their boots.
i mean it works for machines, why wouldn’t it work on biological machinery
