海外視聴者の感想
- Not enough Eiko this episode ;-; But that shot of Koumei sitting in the laundromat, menacingly, was great.
- Never thought I’d see Kongming dressed in a tracksuit free styling in a laundromat haha.
- Big fan of tracksuit Kongming. The man really rocked that look lol.
- It’s actually 1 of his 12 outfits according to the OP.
- Nice callback to someone asking him how many doubles of his traditional outfit he has in the previous episode. Just the one – he changes into a tracksuit when it’s getting washed.
- “This guy looks like the most trouble I’ve come across today!” The look on Kabe-taijin’s face when he said this was hilarious!
- I would react the same, if I in a laundromat someone waiting for me dressed up as Kongming with an adidas track suit. not just that he trying to convince me to do a rap battle while waiting the laundry.
- I like whenever Kongming speaks, he has a very nice cadence and I like the music that often plays while he’s giving advice.
- Kongming himself rapping was pretty good, nice beat and rhythm. Honestly I wanted to hear more of it, looking forward to next week.
- I also wanted that verse from Kongmin to be longer, it was starting to ramp up and they had to cut him short; aww man.
- if only the laundry could’ve gone on longer.
- I feel like this is the kinda thing that would be even better if I could speak/understand Japanese, though just listening to the language and the subtitles do good enough.
- Can’t wait for the eventual EPIC RAP BATTLE OF HISTORY.
- I’m glad that they’ll be devoting an episode to animate the epic showdown between Kabetaijin and Kongming.
- This Kabetaijin guy seems like an interesting character. Being a battle rapper is hard huh? Just kept thinking 8 mile the whole time lol. It would be great if Kongming got up on stage to spit some bars lol.
- His stomach ulcers are probably not just from the stress but also all the energy drinks he’s using to stay up and write lyrics.
- This episode is sponsored by Monster energy drink
- Don’t miss the ED. Chibi Kabe is now seen singing along with Eiko.
- Kabe also joined Eiko at the bar near the end of the ED. Since there’s two empty stools left between them, I’m betting we’ll get another two people to join the crew in the upcoming episodes.
- lol Eiko’s vision of the kinda rapper Kongming might bring. Love it.
- Despite the lack of Eiko, I really liked this episode. There were some early rumblings that this series could become formulaic, with each ep focusing on a new performance and tactic from Kongming. This shook things up and proved there’s more story here to tell than just Eiko singing while Kongming plots in the background.
- On one hand it’s good that the show isn’t too formulaic, but at the same time I thought this episode was weaker than previous ones. The pacing was slower (since it’s obviously a setup for the next episode, which will probably have Kabe join Eiko). It was also focused a lot on Kabe’s problems, and while I understand it’s part of giving him a characterization and motivation to join the main cast, at the same time the show failed to make me truly care for and like him before explaining the problems. I think it’s fine to have a slower paced episode once in a while, though.
- Essentially a two-part episode. I can’t agree that this is even remotely a “weak” episode. Sure we all love Eiko — and can never see too much of her — but Kongming needs to do a lot of background work to do on her behalf. And it was essential to see Kabe’s history (and present state) in order to build the foundation for what Kongming is going to do with (and for) him. Not a single moment was wasted — or cliched.
- I don’t personally mind that sort of episode formula, but you’re certainly right that it demonstrates an attention to episode flow and strengths in the writing/adaptation.
- the thing is the show Imo lives up to how good the op is
